he City 3 Project was formed in the fall of 2004 out of a desire for a more cohesive improv comedy community. Modeled partially after the Improv Co-Ops of Chicago and San Francisco, City 3 seeks to educate both the audiences and performers of improv comedy.

City 3 facilitates workshops, organizes festivals, promotes shows and provides a repository for general information regarding improv in the Kansas City area. City3.org will serve as a central location for information regarding all activities City 3 is or will produce.

With community building in mind, City3.org will continue to grow not only as the company does, but also as community members participate and supply information. Calendars and directories will be maintained by the entire community, increasing the breadth of available data exponentially.
